This may sound super creepy, but I love observing people--and I especially love observing them when they are shopping. I find it fascinating to hear what people have to say about things that they see when they shop, and I love hearing the kinds of justifications that they make for purchasing this and that. But more often than not, I get so busy making those justifications myself when I shop that I rarely have the time to listen or notice other people. So more often than not, I find myself reflecting on what I did or say, and know that I am a real sucker for discounts and burgundy.
Anyhow, the look is complete and so here comes the blogpost. I am wearing a plaid dress and a long cardigan with burgundy lapels that I had purchased a long time back in Korea. The dress by itself was a bit too oversized and with the notorious Chicago wind, I did not like how it flashed my behind from time to time, but paired with a longer cardigan, problems solved. I wore my knee-high boots that I got 50% off on Black Friday, and wore a knee-high socks and a knitted black scarf for extra warmth.
I meant to post this before Christmas, but since when is it already the end of December? I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and are excited for the new year! What's on your new year's resolution?
