Because I like to match the color of my lips to my cheeks, I tend to just use my lipstick as a blush and therefore don't need or buy blushes. But there's always an exception to everything, and this time it was Chanel's Sunkiss Ribbon Blush from Chanel's Spring 2016 collection (I feel like we JUST had Christmas, but spring collection it is!). I would note the price of this baby was not all too kind to my wallet as this retails for $70 for 0.38oz which I understand is more product (and color) than what you get in Chanel's regular blushes (but those are also cheaper).

In this blush, you get an orange, light pink, hot pink, beige, and coral shades that can be used individually or in combination with two or more colors. This blush is not only super versatile but also gives the most natural, amazing glow from within! This is my heavy handed swatch of Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon Blush and as a blush I had no problem with the pigmentation. The beige shade is also very pigmented and has a slight shimmer unlike the other shades, and therefore works wonderfully as an eyeshadow on my NC25 skin tone.

I have been using this blush carefully not really mix the colors to preserve the beautiful interlaced ribbon design, but you can already see that some parts has faded. All five shades look so flattering on my cheeks, and I will just go ahead and experiment with mixing different shades to add various shades of awesomeness to my cheeks.

What do you think about Chanel's Sunkiss Ribbon Blush? Would you add it to your collection?

XOXO,

HaeMin

    1. Oh you should totally try using your lipstick as a blush, especially if you are someone who likes cream blushes. This has got to be the most versatile, compact blush to ever exist and I'm in love! :)
