Just when I thought I was done with all the holiday shopping, I saw Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette on sale and was able to snatch this babe up for just $31 using Sephora's 20% Sale on Sale event.

When this palette first came out in September, I decided against purchasing it as the entire third row of this palette is completely out of my comfort zone. Vice 3 Palette felt more customized for my needs as I am more comfortable playing with coppery, burgundy, and pink eyeshadows. With the reduced price, I thought it would be worth an investment and so here it is!

The pigmentation of the eyeshadows in the first row were mediocre. The pigmentation of all eyeshadows in the second and third row were superb. Low and Crowbar in the final row were quite disappointing as I experienced some serious fallout with them (see the swatch above). My favorite is Flame, and I found it to be similar to Makeup Geek's Cosmopolitan.

What do you think about the Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette? What would be your favorite eyeshadow in this palette?

XOXO,

    1. The pigmentation of the darker shimmery colors sort of suck... a lot... but they do look so beautiful in the pan!

  4. I haven't tried this palette yet, but all the colors look so pretty! That packaging alone is tempting me to buy it haha such a cool design. Great makeup look. I love the soft peachy apricot colors you chose.
That's a similar problem I face with palettes, where there are some colors I don't use and some colors I use to death! But it's also good because by having all these colors, it forces me to eventually experiment with them and try em out.

    1. I believe it's still on sale in sephora! Flame and Bitter has got to be my favorite shades from this palette! :)
I actually started depotting and creating my customized palette just because there were so many colors from each palette that I wasn't using at all. Though..... I don't think I'll depot anything from this palette because c'mon! the packaging is OH SO PRETTY!

  5. These looks so lovely on you! How I wish there's an urban decay store in my country so I get to try it too. It just looks so unique and friendly to the eye (hopefully I make sense).

  12. I skipped this too because the shades are way out of my comfort zone and I know I will never use most of it. And I'm actually surprised at how poor the pigmentation of the first row, wish the quality is more consistent.

  14. I was definitely tempted to get this. But then I realized I was just super attracted to the bright shades so I thought it would be better to just buy them individually. Gorgeous look!
