BECCA Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector Review

Because I have an acne-prone skin and large pores, I tend to stay away from pressed highlighters and prefer the liquid type. All of the products I have used previously felt too sticky or artificial on my skin. A couple of weeks back when I was just having my little quality time at Sephora, I tried BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal and instantly fell in love with how natural the glow was. Moonstone was a bit too white on my face, but opal was the perfect shade for my NC25 skin.

I'd recommend the full size of BECCA's Shimmering Skin Perfector ($41) to anyone interested in mixing this with the foundation to create a dewy look. I find the dewy look to quickly to turn messy on my oily skin so I only use this as a highlighter. For that purpose, the travel size was perfect. I only need the tiniest amount as a highlighter, and I find the tube packaging of the travel sized version ($19) to be easier to control then the pump in the full-sized bottle.

As I am posting this, the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal is on sale for $29.19 (link) and Moonstonefor $32.50 (link) so make sure you check out those links for the best deal!

Have you tried BECCA's products? Which one is your favorite?

XOXO,

HaeMin

  1. I have this as well and really love it! Gives such a flattering, natural glow. I really am a huge fan of their powder highlighters too :)

  2. I loooove Opal! I have it in the liquid and pressed form and they're both great. I realized I really do like liquid highlighters and now have a small collection with some Life's Entropy and Benefit Cosmetics products.
