If you follow me on instragram, you may be aware of this because its so darn obvious, but I am a big fan of Laura Mercier's products. I particularly adore Laura Mercier's matte eyeshadows because I find them to be ultra buttery soft, super pigmented, and very easy to blend, and have experienced minimal to zero fall outs when using them--I love them so much that I even converted four of my friends to Laura Mercier eyeshadows lol!

(I've reviewed Laura Mercier Eyes Art Artist Palette 2015 edition here and here, and Laura Mercier single eyeshadow in Ginger here).

Laura Mercier recently launched a limited edition palette, Extreme Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette ($58). The price is a bit more expensive in South Korea, so I was pondering whether or not to get it--and you can imagine how happy I was to receive this as a gift from Laura Mercier! I was not required to review this on my blog, but it is so amazing that I couldn't help but do so.

Overall, it doesn't matter which Laura Mercier palette you have or how many neutral palettes you own. I believe that the colors and the overall quality of this palette make this the best neutrals palette I've come across--and there are A LOT out there! I can see this becoming my second favorite and my second most used palette, first being my customized palette of course. Highly recommend it!

When compared with Laura Mercier Eyes Art Artist Palette 2015 edition, I found this Extreme Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette to have even better--smoother and more pigmented--formula than the Artist Palette. That's very impressive especially because the pigmentation of the Artist Palette is extremely soft and amazing (except for some colors) and I didn't think that it could get better. Personally I prefer the packaging of the Artist Palette over this one (because I'm always sold by floral prints), but this one looks more chic and sophisticated. The magnets on both palettes are super strong.

My understanding is that the eyeshadows in this Extreme Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette are limited edition--in other words, you can't find these in singles. Therefore, not only is this palette itself a limited edition, but the eyeshadows in it are also limited edition, making this palette an absolute must-have to any Laura Mercier fans.

The Artist Palette is arranged such that the top row is more cool toned and the bottom row more warm-toned, but this Extreme Neutral Eyeshadow has a good mixture of cool, neutral, and warm tone shadows scattered throughout. The two purple/lavender shades (Violet Sugar & Candy Mauve) are the two shades that I probably will use the least (will probably never use Candy Mauve) because these types of cool pastel purple shades look terrible on my warm skin tone, but they make this neutral palette so unique!

Wind and Bond are very close to my skin tone, which is why you can barely see it in the swatches. And my absolute favorite of all of these eyeshadows has got to be Cocoa Rose--please, I need this in a single!!! Choco Glace and Violet Sugar were the two eyeshadow that I experienced a bit of a fall out with (Choco Glace the most), but the big glittery sparks in Choco Glace draws me in every time!

If you are debating whether or not to get this palette, please swatch this in the store--because doing that, you'll know what I mean when I say these are buttery soft and amazing!
