|MAC Melon Pigment Eye Makeup Tutorial|
So I still can't get over the fact that we are past Thanksgiving, let alone Christmas...and that it is 2017...*gasps* but I guess that just means that I am one happy soul as time flies when you are having fun right? Anyhow, with all the SS17 collection out (and I am still living in a puffer jacket) I figured I'd share with you this makeup which is so perfect for spring and summer. And also because peachy gold is never out of style and is always so right!
I started with Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Mango Tango on the outer crease, and then applied Frappe followed by Cocoa Bear to get a nice gradation effect. Take note that I only go a little bit above my crease or else Mango Tango can make my eyes look really swollen.
The highlight of this makeup though is MAC Pigment in Melon. You can ignore all the previous steps and seriously just apply Melon and call it a day. I used Too Faced Insurance Primer and then used my fingers to get the pigment to stick to my rather oily lids. With MAC pigments, I also like to use Too Faced Glitter Glue and MAC Fix + as well! Honestly, before I tried MAC pigments I thought pigments were such an awful hassle, but MAC Melon is so easy to apply! I do however prefer to do my eye makeup first and then move on to my foundations but if I could I'd cover my entire face in MAC Melon lol.
Afterwards I used Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink and then though I forgot to take a photo this, I curled my lashes, applied Ardell Lashes Demi Wispies, then coated them with Maybelline's Lash Sensational Mascara.
On my lips is my all time favorite MAC lipstick for the summer, which is Vegas Volt! Such a pretty coral color that isn't too neon and it works to brighten up my face!
Hope you enjoyed this makeup!
